Triple leaf tea is a Chinese herb detoxification complex made out of various herbs used in Chinese traditional medicine. Triple leaf tea, or the product advertised as such, is not really a tea product in the traditional sense of the way, in that it does not contain actual tea leaves, but rather, it consists of a series of herbs, more or less known for their properties, and as such, is more likely an herbal infusion, or, for the sake of preserving the tea appellative, an herbal tea. Triple leaf teas generally boast detoxifying properties, and are recommended for weight loss.
The sellers of triple leaf tea promise amazing weight loss and detoxification results from consuming the product, listing the ingredients of the herbal complex and each of their effects. Certainly, the promised effects sound very good, as do the principles of old Chinese medicine that are invoked, unfortunately, it's necessary to be very careful when it comes to these things, because more often than not, they can be attempts to rip you off.
The herbs contained in these triple leaf tea complexes have all sorts of known and unknown properties, and each of them individually have not been known to be damaging, in fact, they have mostly been known to be helpful in the treatment of certain ailments, or in the appeasement of certain symptoms, but a cocktail of 20 something such substances can have unforeseeable effects, something that doesn't seem to appear anywhere on the packaging of most products. The even more disturbing fact about some of these products is that while it is claimed that they have some very powerful diuretic, detoxifying and weight-loss inducing effects, there instructions of use are vague at best. The indicated dosage is very loosely overwritten in the next sentences of the indications of use, which pretty much claims that you should take as much as you want until it works, and that maybe you should also couple the products with some laxatives for a better effect. The problem is that with substances that have such a powerful effect as that advertised, it's really not advisable to be vague about dosage, and it only goes to show that the advertised triple leaf teas are either not as powerful as one is being led to think, or that the manufacturers and sellers have so little concern about the buyer's health that they would be careless about the recommended dosage. Either way, the verdict is not good.
Triple leaf teas sound very good in principle, and if bought from a trusted seller after consulting a doctor about the possible effects and ill effects on your health the product might have, they can be a very effective method of detoxification. The principles these triple leaf teas are created on are certainly ones to be believed, seeing as they have been around for thousands of years, and have been tested and re-tested through time. It is, however, very advisable that you be very careful about potential con-artists who might try to take your money in return for a product that might be ineffective or worse, might jeopardize your health.
